DMX began rapping from the mid 1990s. In May 1998 he recorded his debut album, It's Dark and HOT. Over the years he also released several albums, including ... And Then There Was X and the Great Depression Year of the Dog... And Again Redemption of the Beast Grand Champ and Flesh of My Flesh Blood of My Blood. The album titled...And It was X was nominated for The Grammy for Best Rap Album in 2001. The singer has appeared in films such as Lords of the Street Belly Top Five and Exit Wounds. The Bleeding Romeo must Die Backstage over the Law Lockjaw and Fast and Fierce Death Race.
